A textile print blanket, particularly for automatic screen printing comprises a base layer of at least one ply of woven fabric of extensibility of 6-10% under 60 lb. per inch load, a print layer of at least one ply of extensibility at least twice that of base layer, elastomeric adhesive between the layers and an elastomeric coating on the, or the upper, print layer. A roller-engaging layer of extensible fabric similarly adhered may be provided under the base layer. The layers may be made of cotton, linen or synthetic material but preferably comprise, for the base layer or layers, a light cotton duck pre-stretched before use or a heavier duck having strong inextensible wraps and fewer and weaker wefts, and, for the print layer or layers, and the bottom layer, duck or twill having warp threads which are inherently extensible or possess crimp by the nature of the weave. The adhesives used may comprise water dispersions or solvent solutions of neoprene, butadieneacrylonitrile or butadiene-styrene copolymers, or natural rubber, and the top coating may comprise similar compositions of neoprene, butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer, polysulphide or polyurethane. As shown, two base layers 12 are adhered to each other by an adhesive layer 13 and by an adhesive layer 15 to a print layer 16 carrying an elastomeric coating 17. The layers are coated and assembled in longitudinally staggered relation, cured in sections in a vulcanizing press, and the ends, left uncured, spliced together with staggered joins and cured.
