Beam is multimorph comprising laminate of pizoelectric materials. Beam carries engaging element (38) for engaging skin to be evaluated, and displacement measuring arrangement (72, 74) for measuring displacement of the beam. Housing carries pressure controller (56) for controlling pressure applied to skin by engaging element.
