<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image processor producing a similar frequency processing effect independently from the characteristics of a display medium. <P>SOLUTION: A frequency component decomposing means converts an image into frequency coefficients of each of a plurality of frequency bands, a coefficient converting means converts the frequency coefficient of each frequency band calculated by the frequency component decomposing means using a coefficient conversion table formed while taking account of a display medium, and a restoration means reversely converts the coefficient which is converted by the coefficient converting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
