<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently release joule heat generated at light receiving and emitting elements mounted on a movable part to a fixed part without deteriorating the actuator operation of the movable part of an optical head. <P>SOLUTION: This optical head is provided with a movable part having at least a heat sink, a light emitting element, a light receiving element and a grinding wheel, a fixed part having at least a coil and a yoke, an elastic member for interconnecting the movable and fixed parts, and magnetic fluids. The light emitting and receiving elements are mounted on the heat sink, the heat sink and the grinding wheel are connected to each other, and the magnetic fluids are arranged in a space between the grinding wheel and the yoke. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
