<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controlling device, for a printing machine, which is capable of selectively spraying powder which prevents an offset from occurring, to the pattern printing region of printed matter, and a controlling method. <P>SOLUTION: This method is for controlling a sheet printing machine equipped with a powder spray 33 for spraying the powder for preventing the offset from occurring, to the printed matter 40 from a plurality of nozzles 33a arranged in the width direction of the printed matter 40. In this method, the step to create pattern presence data for every nozzle width of the powder spray 33 correspondingly with a position for the movement of the printed matter 40 based on plate cylinder pattern information and the step to control injection timing for each nozzle 33a based on the pattern presence data and the position for the movement of the printed matter 40 per each nozzle 33a, are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
