<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crime-prevention door with excellent crime preventability, which can cope with the fraudulent turning of a thumb-turn. <P>SOLUTION: This crime-prevention door is equipped with a door body 10, both the sides of which are equipped with outdoor-side and indoor-side surface metallic plates 1A and 1B, serving as surface panels 1, and a door locking mechanism 3 for locking the opening/closing of the door body 10. In the crime-prevention door, a glass plate 2 is fixed to an inside surface of the metallic plate 1B at least in the peripheral part of the mechanism 3. Since a hole cannot be drilled in the glass plate 2 by using a normal metallic drill, the fraudulent turning of the thumb-turn, wherein the thumb-turn is operated by drilling the hole, is effectively inhibited. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
