摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To electrically connect a tilt hinge mechanism of a tilt steering device and to easily perform layout of the mechanism when a surrounding space is narrow. <P>SOLUTION: This tilt hinge mechanism 6 of the electric power steering device 1 is provided with a lower fixed bracket 14 fixed to a vehicle body side member 5, a bolt 15 as a tilt spindle assembled to a housing 10 of a steering column 4 by being inserted into a side plate 14a of the bracket 14 and a conductive member 23 held between a head part 15a of the bolt 15 and the side plate 14a and having elasticity. The conductive member 23 includes an annular main body 24 and an elastic piece part 25 constituted of a U-shaped part extended from the main body 24 and supported in a cantilever. The conductive member 23 is elastically deformed, the conductive member 23, the head part 15a and the side plate 14a can be surely and mutually brought into contact, and the tilt hinge mechanism 6 is capable of securing electrical conduction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
