<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a forgery prevention effect and to easily and highly accurately confirm whether an article is real or false. <P>SOLUTION: An unreproducible fine feature (random pattern) that the article 12 itself originally has is read out of a specified observation area on the top surface of the article 12, and used to identify and collate the article 12 individually. For the purpose, a protection material 20 is previously fixed to a part including the observation area of at least the random pattern on the top surface of the article 12 to cover the observation area on the top surface of the article with the protection material 20, thereby protecting and fixing the random pattern in the observation area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
