<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide powder coffee intended for expressing flavor superior to that of conventional coffee and producing medicinal effect through mixing delicious taste peculiar to vitamins with production coffee powder. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing the vitamin-enriched coffee powder comprises freezing and drying a mixture of raw material coffee powder, vitamin essence of at least one kind selected from vitamin A and B group, vitamin C, vitamin D and vitamin E and dehydrating by heat the product. Vitamin A is for optic nerve, and vitamin B<SB>1</SB>and B<SB>2</SB>give activation to the brain and have nutrient of energy production. Vitamin C and vitamin E are effective for whitening skin and lessening spots and freckles by their antioxidation action. The coffee powder contributes to health maintenance of the stomach and intestines and the bone and becomes palatable coffee powder improved in flavor by using together e.g. dietary fiber calcium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
