PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering column device capable of obtaining the required telescopic stroke by an oblong hole arranged on one axis of a movable bracket. SOLUTION: The steering column device has a fixed bracket 3 fixed to a vehicle body and a movable bracket 4 fixed to a steering column 1. The movable bracket 4 has an oblong hole 17 of the length sufficient for providing the telescopic stroke. The oblong hole 17 is formed as a single space.
