PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shading control device capable of protecting the previously specified place (part applied) by a driver/passenger of a vehicle against the solar beams accurately. SOLUTION: The shading control device 15 includes a central processing part 155 which acquires the vehicle tilting angle, advancing direction, the current position of the vehicle, and the present time information. Then the central processing part 155 derives the position of the sun relative to the vehicle using the acquired information. Further the central processing part 155 acquires the position of the part to be applied and prepares a control signal to specify the shading area of a shield 157 on the basis of the determined position of the sun and the acquired position of the part applied.
