PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide X-ray equipment which is prevented from damaged and where the safety of a subject is secured during photographing by preventing a stretcher from colliding directly to an X-ray imaging part. SOLUTION: The X-ray equipment has a protection means and a locking means. The protection means can lay the stretcher mounting the subject lying thereon alongside in front of the X-ray imaging part of the X-ray equipment, and can prevent the stretcher from colliding directly with the X-ray imaging part at the time of laying alongside. The locking means locks the movement in a horizontal direction of the stretcher in front of the X-ray imaging part. Thus. when diagnosing a site which can be coped with by lateral decubitus photographing, there is no need to transfer the patient from the stretcher to a bed for photographing.
