PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a getting in-and-out step device, enlarging the effective area of a getting in-and-out step part and the whole vehicle floor and preventing a sudden operation of a movable step. SOLUTION: This getting in-and-out step device includes: a movable step 11 displaced between the state of being stored on a fixed step 16 provided on a vehicle getting in-and-out port 62 and the state of being expanded to the outside of the vehicle; and an expanding and storing means for expanding and storing the movable step. The movable step 11 is put in the state of being stored on the fixed step 16 when a crank arm 21 is inclined toward the inside of the vehicle and put in the state of being expanded to the outside of the vehicle when the crank arm 21 lies down outside of the vehicle.
