<p>Previous to introducing C fibres into an Al melt elements are added of more neg. free energy of formation than Al4C3 forming less harmful carbides. Elements can be Ti, Zr, Th, Si, Cr, Ta, Nb, Hf or mixture of >=2C fibres derived from polyacrylonitrile, can be coated first with Ni layer 2 mu thick. Proportion of elements 1 wt.% of Al-melt.</p> |
