PURPOSE: A vacuum cleaner having voltage indicating function is provided to indicate the state of input voltage aurally and visually, and to prevent the damage of a motor caused by overvoltage. CONSTITUTION: A light-emitting unit(20) is installed at the outside of a cleaner body, and has a plurality of LEDs(Y,B,R). The LEDs emit light differently from each other according to input voltage. A control unit(16) compares a plurality of reference voltages with the input voltage, and controls the lighting of the LED corresponding to the input voltage.
