SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ELECTRONIC PAYMENT ON ON/OFFLINE COMMERCIAL TRANSACTION

PURPOSE: A system and a method for electronic payment on the on/offline commercial transaction are provided to prevent illegal card use or troubles between a buyer and a seller, while protecting personal information of the buyer and enabling the safe/efficient price settlement. CONSTITUTION: A buyer terminal(1) has a function to connect with the Internet through a wired/wireless communication line, enables the buyer to buy an article by connecting to a server of the seller through the Internet, and performs an electronic payment process by connecting to a bank server after purchase. A seller system(3) includes a seller management server(32) and a seller terminal(31). The seller management server enables the buyer connected through the Internet to buy the article by providing the articles, and transmits a member shop number and an order number needed for the electronic payment to the buyer terminal if the transaction is successful. A bank system(2) registers an account of the buyer/seller and transfers transaction price to seller's account from buyer's account.
