<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which enables a user to observe a plurality of two-dimensional images without deterioration of horizontal resolution, for example, images having parallax at rspective predetermined positions and which displays highly brilliant images. <P>SOLUTION: The display device is provided with a liquid crystal display device 8, a image signal output part 13 which outputs image data to respective pixels 2, 3 so that an image for right eye and an image for left eye are displayed alternately for at least the horizontal direction of the liquid crystal display device 8 on the respective pixels 2, 3 of the liquid crystal display device 8, a parallax barrier 11 having a plurality of slit parts, a slit control part that selectively controls transmission and interception of the slit parts 5, 6 and a lenticular lens 12. Therein, the transmission and interception of the slit parts 5, 6 are switched with a prescribed period and, at the same time, the image data is outputted so that the display positions of the image for left eye and the image for right eye are switched. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
