<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present information to be referred to in operating application by switching a window display mode. <P>SOLUTION: When display of reference information is instructed, window management data being used for current window management are transferred to a second window management data holding means 4b from a first window management data holding means 4a. At the time of displaying the reference information, the window management is performed on the basis of the window management data of the second window management data holding means 4b. The transferred window management data are changed into one more suitable for displaying the reference information.
