<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet filing device capable of reducing manufacturing costs while having a middle filing function and an end filing function. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device is constituted in a manner to transfer a recorded sheet to be discharged toward the upper right side by a transfer roller 20. The transferred sheet advances to the lower left side along two chain lines by its tare weight. At the time of end filing, a tip end stopper 25 for end filing is arranged at a shown position, so that the sheet is stacked. On the other hand, at the time of middle filing and folding, the tip end stopper 25 for end filing is arranged at a position for releasing a transfer path of the sheet, thereby stacking the sheet with the position of a tip end stopper 28 for middle filing as a bottom end.
