PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum flat cable having equal to or more excellent electrical characteristics and mechanical strength than those of a conventional copper flat cable, and having excellent connectivity to a connector and a terminal connecting part for the copper flat cable designed in accordance with the conventional copper flat cable. SOLUTION: In this aluminum flat cable 1 formed by substituting aluminum flat conductors 2 for the copper flat conductors 12 of the copper flat cable 11 formed by applying an insulating coating on a plurality of copper flat conductors 12 disposed side by side, a pitch between the flat conductors 2 of the aluminum flat cable is the same as the pitch between the flat conductors 12 of the copper flat cable, and the electric resistance of the aluminum flat conductor 2 is equal to or less than that of the copper flat conductor 12.
