PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable interlayer insulations of amorphous materials, and the prevention of scattering their flakes, by easily automated techniques, in an amorphous-core transformer. SOLUTION: The constitution of a lamination type core is the one wherein each sheet-form insulating material whose width is larger than the one of each amorphous material is so interposed between amorphous-material laminates which form the lamination type core together with other laminates so as to cover the side-surface portions and planar-surface portions of the core with the sheet-form insulating materials folded in their respective width-direction end sections.
