PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser device capable of simultaneously measuring the beam mode and power of a laser beam to be generated at the same time with a single detector. SOLUTION: In this laser device 10 where an amplified excitation light is emitted from an output mirror 13 as a laser beam 2, a light receiving face 14 for detecting a test beam 13 transmitted through a reflecting mirror 12 is formed of a light receiving area divided into four, a beam mode is recognized from the deviation of the detected values of the test beam 13 detected by those respective light receiving areas, and a power is recognized from the total of the detected values.
