PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a submergence detection label which increases detection precision of a water submerged state, and to provide a battery pack, and a method for manufacturing the submergence detection label. SOLUTION: The submergence detection label with a watertight PET sheet 1 formed on the top surface of a submergence sheet (high-quality paper) 2 coated with water-soluble red ink 4 and with an adhesive 3 for adhesion to equipment whose submergence is to be detected positioned on the reverse surface of the submergence sheet 2, is constituted so that the adhesive 3 is not applied to the reverse surface of the area in which the top surface is coated with the water-soluble red ink 4. Water entering the equipment which is submerged percolates down through the submergence sheet 2 coated with the adhesive 3 which prevents the water from passing to make the water-soluble red ink 4 ooze out, thereby making it easy to visually detect the submerged state.
