The invention relates to a multi-functional digital satellite terminal. The inventive terminal (2) is connected to a television set (1) and to an antenna (3) which is aimed at a satellite (4). Said terminal is characterised in that it comprises a USB (Universal Serial Bus) port with one or more connectors, as well as office application software providing basic functions such as text processing, printing (8), fax transmission, photo reader and video games. The invention is designed to enable the use of an installation for receiving signals transmitted by geostationary satellites and, in particular, television broadcasts, in order to perform simple office applications that normally require a personal computer. |
