The adjustable foot pedal may be used for the accelerator, brake or clutch in a road vehicle. It has a lever (5) hinged (13) on a carriage (3) moved by turning threaded spindle (11) engaging a nut (12). The linkage has a first link (15) hinged (19) to the pedal lever and to the end (18) of a second link (16). This link is hinged (17) to a lever (3a) on the carriage. The first lever presses on a ball (22) on the end of a bell crank (21) hinged (20) on a support member (4) and pressing (24) on an actuator rod (6).
