Fluid-cooling device in the form of a modular unit comprises a drive motor (10) driving a ventilation wheel (12) rotating in a ventilation housing (28). At least one fluid is conveyed from a feed reservoir (20) into a hydraulic working circuit which, during operation, heats the fluid and guides it to a heat exchanger (24), from which the cooled fluid returns to the feed reservoir. Parts of the reservoir at least partly surround the ventilation wheel and form the ventilation housing that is preferably made of a plastic material. Preferred Features: The feed reservoir is made from a polyethylene material in a rotoforming process.
