METHOD AND A SYSTEM FOR PREVENTING INFORMATION SERVICE CHARGES FROM BEING PAID FOR AN IMPROPER TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION, SPECIALLY RELATED TO STORING A TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION AND AN IP ADDRESS WHEN A BROWSER ACCESSES A PROXY SERVER, IN ORDER TO COMPARE THE IDENTIFICATION WITH THE ADDRESS

PURPOSE: A method and a system for preventing information service charges from being paid for an improper terminal identification are provided to store an MIN(Mobile Identification Number) and an IP address in a network equipment when a data call is set, and to store the MIN and the IP address when a browser accesses a proxy server in order to compare the MIN with the address, thereby preventing improper service charges from being paid. CONSTITUTION: A terminal(101) sends a call access request to a PDSN(109)(S301). The PDSN(109) assigns an IP address for the request(S303). An IPLS(IP Location Provider)(113) registers an MIN 1 and an IP address(S305). If the terminal(101) transmits an HTTP page request including an MIN 2 and the IP address(S307), a PAS(Proxy Agent System)(115) receives the request, and extracts the MIN 2 and the IP address to store the MIN 2 and the address(S309). The PAS(115) requests subscriber information on the MIN 2(S311) to receive subscriber information(S313). The PAS(115) requests subscriber information on the MIN 2(S315). An IP address corresponding to the MIN 2 is extracted, and is transmitted to the PAS(115)(S317). If an IP extracted from an HTTP header is not identical with the IP address(S319), a call between the terminal(101) and the PAS(115) is canceled(S321). When a call between the terminal(101) and the PDSN(109) is terminated(S323), the PDSN(109) generates accounting records for the MIN 1(S325).
