<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine hole electric discharge machine capable of controlling the liquid level height of a machining liquid, a die sinking and fine hole composite electric discharge machine, and a die sinking and fine hole composite electric discharge machining method using this device. <P>SOLUTION: This fine hole electric discharge machine has the Z axis for controlling lifting of a bar-shaped electrode 37 for machining at least a fine hole, and the W axis for controlling lifting of an electrode guide 39 for guiding a lower end part of the bar-shaped electrode; and is characterized in that a work W is placed and fixed in a machining tank 15 arranged, so as to be capable of freely filling and discharging the machining liquid 13, a partition plate 77 for adjusting the liquid level height of the machining liquid is liftably arranged along a cutout window 57 arranged in the machining tank, a W axis slide 35 having the electrode guide in a lower end part is liftably arranged, a master cylinder 99 is arranged for lifting by interlocking with lifting of the W axis slide, a slave cylinder 93 joined to the master cylinder via a pipe is connected and arranged via a partition plate driving mechanism, and the partition plate is lifted by interlocking with the lifting of the W axis slide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
