摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine, in which a sufficient exhaust-gas amount can be sent in a supercharger for ensuring the super-charging capacity, and a sufficient boost pressure can be ensured, even though an EGR system is provided to the engine. <P>SOLUTION: The control device includes a plurality of EGR paths 15, EGR valves 16, and a controller 18. In the EGR paths 15, EGR gas is returned to an intake system through a plurality of exhaust gas paths 13 allowing the supercharger 10 to communicate with a prescribed group of cylinders in the multi-cylinders. The EGR valves 16 are provided to the respective EGR paths 15 to control the amount of EGR gas passing through the EGR paths 15. The controller 18 controls the opening of the EGR valves 16 so that a desired amount of EGR gas is returned to the intake system without reducing the amount of exhaust gas flowing in the supercharger 10 in a specified period less than a reference amount. Since the controller controls the plurality of EGR valves 16, a sufficient amount of exhaust gas can be conducted in the supercharger for ensuring the supercharging capacity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
