IMAGE FORMATION DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device which can improve the ease of use of users, and to provide an image formation method.

SOLUTION: The image formation device 100 is equipped with a display part 7. It is judged (step S3) whether or not execution of a post treatment request is enabled by changing a recording material P supplied from a supply part 5 in the case where the execution of the post treatment request among an image formation process request and the post treatment request inputted from the input part 7 is impossible (step S2: N). When it is judged that the execution of the post treatment request becomes possible by changing the recording material P (step S3: Y), the display part 7 displays the fact and a guide of changing the recording material P.
