<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aseptic filling blow-molded container in the form of a bottle, which contributes to simplification of a container sterilizing device and sure, efficient sterilization of the container, and to provide a method for sterilizing the container. <P>SOLUTION: The aseptic filling blow-molded container is circular in cross-section. The container comprises at least: a bottomed cylindrical container body 1; a mouth neck 2 that continues from the top of the container body 1 and has a screw part 3 on the outer circumferential part of the mouth neck 2; and a closing part 4 that is disposed on the mouth neck so as to be cuttable and has a narrow pipe 5 at its top. The container is formed so that the outside diameter of the closing part 4 is equal to the maximum outside diameter of the container body 1. In the course of blow-molding the container, aseptic air is blew into to container. Thereafter, the thin tube 5 is fused by the application of heat, thereby hermetically sealing the container so that the inside is aseptic. Next, the container is supplied to an aseptic filling device and laid onto a conveyor having rotary rolls in a sterilizing zone.
