SYNCHRONOUS CLOSING UNIT IN GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a synchronous closing unit of a generator integrating an automatic synchronous closing unit and a manual synchronous closing unit in which the voltage difference and the frequency difference can be manually confined within an allowable value in a short time at the time of automatic synchronous closing and a check synchronization function is prevented from malfunctioning at the time of manual synchronous closing. SOLUTION: The synchronous closing unit of a generator comprises a means for detecting the voltage difference and the frequency difference between a bus and a generator, a regulating means issuing a signal for confining the voltage difference and the frequency difference within an allowable value in response to a command from a means for commanding regulation of the voltage and frequency on an operating panel. Consequently, the voltage difference and the frequency difference can be regulated manually even at the time of manual closing, and a manual synchronous closing button can output a signal only when the voltage difference, the frequency difference and the phase difference fall within an range capable of synchronous closing.
