PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of simply adjusting the position of an imaging element so as to obtain a proper distance between the imaging element and the lens without the need for increasing the cost and a useless pressing means. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 11 including: an optical system; the imaging element 11 located on the optical axis of the optical system; and a board 13 for receiving electric charge signal obtained by applying photoelectric conversion to the light received by the imaging element 11 is characterized in that the optical system, the imaging element 11 and the board 13 are sequentially located on the optical axis, one face of the imaging element 11 is pressed into contact with a part apart at a prescribed distance from the optical system, one or two or more spring members being terminals 16 are fitted to the other face of the imaging element 11, and the board 115 is fixed, to / with which the spring members are pressed / in contact.
