SIGNAL DEVICE PROVIDED WITH ICE/SNOW THAWING FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal device prevented from adhesion of ice/snow. SOLUTION: A heating unit 7 formed like a sheet is stuck to the rear side face of a signal body 3. The heating unit 7 consists of a semiconductor heat exchange element formed like a sheet. A solar battery 8 connected to the heating unit 7 is stuck to a post 2. Electric charge generated in the solar battery 8 is accumulated in an electric double layer capacitor and the charge of the electric double layer capacitor is sequentially sent to the semiconductor heat exchange element. Consequently the heating unit 7 is heated and a light emitting part on the surface side of the signal body 3 is prevented from adhesion of ice/snow. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
