PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car washing machine, preventing bristles of brushes from being entrained between brush bodies and bristles of the brushes from being entangled with each other. SOLUTION: A side brush 16 for a vehicle 1 to be washed is formed of upper and lower brush bodies 51, 52 fitted with a number of bristles 55, 57 of brushes and connected to each other, the respective brush bodies 51, 52 are independently driven to rotate, and a resin cover 67 covering a gap between the brush bodies 51, 52 and a ring-like discoidal rubber body 68 are provided between the brush bodies 51, 52. By this arrangement, the bristles 55, 57 of brushes can be prevented from being entrained between the brush bodies 51, 52 by the resin cover 67, and further the bristles 55, 57 of brushes can be prevented from being entangled with each other by the discoidal rubber body 68.
