PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame member which is made of a thermoplastic resin, excellent in recycling efficiency, cutting efficiency, and dimensional stability, and has good rigidity, and to provide a frame body formed of the frame members, and a panel having the frame body. SOLUTION: The frame member is a long-length body having a square cross section along a plane at right angles to a longitudinal direction of the body, and formed by laminating, on each other, a plurality of inorganic filler compounded thermoplastic resin plates each having glass fiber cloths on both sides thereof, via adhesive layers. The frame member has the glass fiber cloths on upper and lower surfaces thereof, and has a width ranging from 10 to 100 mm and a thickness ranging from 4 to 60 mm. The frame body is formed of the frame members and a hollow portion enclosed by the same, and has the glass fiber cloths on upper and lower surfaces thereof. The panel has the frame body.
