PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrel in which the size of a port through which a plating liquid goes in and out can be reduced to a micron order. SOLUTION: The barrel 10 is obtained by sintering and molding a thermoplastic raw material. Since the barrel 10 composed in this way is the one obtained by subjecting the thermoplastic raw material to sintering and molding, the size of a port through which a plating liquid L goes in and out can be reduced to a micron order. Thus, even in the case the object T to be plated is a very small one of a micron order, the object T to be plated does not escape from the port through which the plating liquid goes in and out in the barrel 10 to the outside of the barrel 10.
