PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brazing material molded body in a cubic shape, in which high joining reliability is secured, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the brazing material molded body comprises the steps of clamping and holding a foil-like brazing material consisting primarily of gold as a main constituent element and having a melting temperature within the range of 250-380°C while elastically deforming it between a first fixture (21) having a recessed cross section and a second fixture having a projecting cross section, heating the brazing material or the fixture to a temperature lower than the melting temperature of the brazing material and then cooling the brazing material to a normal temperature to plastically deform the brazing material. In order to form the brazing material into a cylindrical shape, further, the formed part is clamped, while maintaining its shape, between the first fixture (21) and an insert fixture in the same shape as that of the hollow part to hold the brazing material. The remaining part of the brazing material is clamped and held between the insert fixture and a third fixture having a recessed cross section, and heated to a temperature lower than the melting temperature of the brazing material before being cooled to a normal temperature.
