PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission structure which prevents damage of an engine of a crusher using the engine as a power source and crushing the leaves of pruned trees. SOLUTION: In the power transmission structure, a relay pipe 8 is inserted into a power takeout shaft 7 (hereinafter referred to as a PTO shaft) of the engine 2 through a key 9, a bearing support 11 is mounted to a crank case 10 of the engine 2, the relay pipe 8 is supported by a bearing 12 installed to the bearing support 11 and a boss 14 of a rotary blade assembly 3 inserted into the relay pipe 8, thereby power being transmitted through a shear bolt 19. Then the power transmission structure is so arranged that power transmission is cut off from the relay pipe 8 by reducing frictional forces against the side face of the boss 14 by a thrust washer 21 and a thrust bearing 23, when the shear bolt 19 is cut.
