TREATMENT METHOD FOR ORGANIC WASTE WATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method for treating organic waste water including a flocculation process of obtaining flocks excellent in solid-liquid separation property. SOLUTION: The method for treating organic waste water comprises the following steps: (1) a flocculation step I wherein a solid component floating in waste water is flocculated to form 3 mm or larger flocks by using two or more ionic polymer flocculants different in ionic properties; and (2) a solid-liquid separation step II wherein the flocks formed by the flocculation in the flocculation step I are filtered (dehydrated) and recovered as a cake.
