PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic powder container which can prevent a cosmetic substance from dispersing in and around the container in the container which houses a cosmetic powder such as a face powder, a powder foundation, and an applying utensil such as a powder puff. SOLUTION: In a configuration wherein an internal lid 8a is fitted in the container 6, and a cosmetic housing chamber 33 for housing the cosmetic powder 1 such as a face powder or a powder foundation is formed under the internal lid 8a, at least a part of a partitioning section 16a of the internal lid 8a constituting the cosmetic housing chamber 33 is formed of a material having an elasticity, and numerous incisions 117 which go through the partitioning section 16a from the top to the bottom are placed. The incisions 117 are opened by stretching the partitioning section 16a, and the taking out of the cosmetic powder 1 is made possible.
