PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid suction apparatus with improved recovery rate of liquid capable of easily disposing of the recovered liquid. SOLUTION: A bottomed cyclone cylinder 9 is erected in the upstream side of an electric fan 8, a liquid storage vessel 22 is installed below the cyclone cylinder 9, a first discharge port 13 spaced apart from the bottom end of the side wall 11 is formed in the side wall 11 of the cyclone cylinder 9 so as to discharge most sewage W by a centrifugal force into the liquid storage vessel 22 during operation and retain part of the sewage W in the cylinder 9, and a second liquid discharge port 14 is formed in the bottom wall 10 of the cyclone cylinder 9. The sewage W can be satisfactorily separated from a gas/liquid mixture by centrifuging the sucked gas/liquid mixture to separate the sewage W and adsorbing the sewage mist W in the sewage W retained in the cyclone cylinder 9. The sewage W in the cyclone cylinder 9 is discharged from the second liquid discharge port 14 into the liquid storage vessel 22 when operation is interrupted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
