PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine improved in inserting a bath water suction hose joint into a washing machine body when the bath water suction hose joint is connected to the washing machine body by a conventional method of connection, which is disadvantage of a prior art, capable of preventing corrosion caused by rusting of an armature of a charged part etc. so that an insulating material is hardly deteriorated by the arc tracking. SOLUTION: The washing machine has a conductor for current carry provided on the outer periphery of the insertion part of a connection joint so that the conductor can carry electric currents turnably together with a power supply armature provided at the insertion part of a top cover. In addition, a water drain hole is disposed at a lower position of the power supply armature part of the top cover insertion part so that moisture can be discharged. Accordingly, corrosion caused by rusting of the armature of the charged part and deterioration of the insulating material caused by the arc tracking can be prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
