<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust needle bearing enabling the securement of reliability while suppressing drag resistance, roller used for the thrust needle bearing, and a compressor for air conditioner using the thrust bearing. <P>SOLUTION: This thrust needle bearing is formed such that chamfered parts 16x are formed at the end faces of the roller 16e and the radial dimension B of the chamfered part 16x is larger than the axial dimension A of the chamfered part 16x. By this, the surface pressure of the roller 16e can be lowered. Also, since the position p of the roller in contact with the end face of the pocket of a cage 16h nears the axis thereof in the radial direction when the roller 16e is energized in the radial outer direction by a centrifugal force in operation, the rotational resistance of the roller can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
