PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection screen which can be used in a bright environment and has high brightness. SOLUTION: The projection screen is provided with a base material and a polarized-light selective reflection layer which is formed on the base material and has a cholesteric liquid crystal layer selectively reflecting light of a specified polarized light component.
