PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which saves the frequency of a recovery treatment, such as a core wire cleaning in a fluorescent X-ray analysis apparatus using a gas flow type proportional counter tube. SOLUTION: In the fluorescent X-ray analysis apparatus in which the gas flow type proportional counter tube 8 detects a secondary X ray 5 generated by an irradiation with a primary X ray 3 to a sample 1, at least a part of piping 12 into which gas flows consists of a high molecular compound, in the gas flow type proportional counter tube 8.
