PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass product and a plastic product which have an excellent antistaticity and are transparent, colorable with light color and dust-proof. SOLUTION: The antistatic film is obtained from the reaction product of a hydrolysis-polycondensated metal alkoxide in the presence of a water-absorptive polymer. The antistatic film is obtained from the reaction product of a hydrolysis-polycondensated metal alkoxide in the presence of a water-absorptive polymer and a silicone compound. The silicone compound is selected from the group consisting of a dimethylsiloxane-based siliclone oil, a silicone based on a dimethylsiloxane having modified terminals at both the ends and a hydrophilic group-bonded dimethylsiloxane-based silicone oil. The water-absorptive polymer is a powder having an average particle size of 50-500μm. The antistatic film is formed by precision dip coating using a single axle driving device.
