PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window blind for an automobile capable of adjusting the quantity of incident light into a vehicle in three conditions. SOLUTION: The window blind for an automobile is provided with blind sheets capable of adopting a first operation condition not suppressing the incident light into the vehicle, a second operation condition suppressing the quantity of the incident light, and a third operation condition with the incident light into the vehicle different from those of the first and second operation conditions. The blind sheets are connected to drawbars 31, 39 at one end edge, and a guide means guiding the blind sheets is provided with first and second guide grooves 19, 21 and a guide groove 101 extending from a switch 102 where the guide grooves 19, 21 are joined. Furthermore, two thrust members are provided movably by a driving means, and the blind sheets are shifted in association with the movement. By the interaction between one end of each thrust member and one end of each drawbar, one of the drawbars can be guided to either of the guide grooves. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
