A high-frenquent welding rig has on the HF generator output a capacitor with a movable plate. Its location can be adjusted for every workpiece fixing station independently. This plate is moved by a spring-loaded rope-and-pulley mechanism in conjunction with a cam-operated two-armed lever in such a way that it is set correctly for the workpiece facing the upper clamping plate.
