The dispenser (1) has a squeeze container (4) with mouth opening (8) enclosed by an applicator surface (13) which can be changed from applying broad or narrow strips of adhesive to spot application by moving down a membrane (M) which can be wound back from its position aligned with the end face (12) of the mouthpiece (9) along the sleeve face (14) thereof. The applicator surface (13) can be moved in a pendulum motion within restricted angles through the elasticity of the membrane.
